The Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk: What are your priorities for helping rural areas?

Dear Parish

The Government has informed the council that in addition to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, £1.5million has been indicatively allocated to this borough under the Rural England Prosperity Fund. You can read more about the fund on the REPF prospectus page.

There is a very short deadline for us to construct our proposition – we need to submit our proposal by 30 November. However, as part of the process of putting together our proposal, we also need to demonstrate that we have consulted our rural communities.

A short survey has been put together for businesses and communities to complete. The survey will run for 2 weeks from 14 -30 October. Publicity is planned to promote it, with businesses and the media (copy of press release below).

I would be grateful if you could promote this within your own wards to encourage uptake within your rural community so that we can ensure we have a robust framework on which to construct a proposal.

The link to the survey page is: www.west-norfolk.gov.uk/repf.

Kind regards,

Jemma Curtis
